FILM, FAQs

What to Expect

A little more about the experience, the mediums I work with, and what happens after you inquire.

Do you only photograph on film?

Film is at the heart of my work. I photograph with 35mm, medium format, Polaroid, and Super 8. My larger wedding offerings include a dedicated digital photographer, giving you the feeling of film with more complete coverage of the day.

Already have a digital photographer you love? Perfect. Mention them in your inquiry, and I can create a custom analog add-on, joining the team as your film photographer while they remain your primary digital photographer.

What is included in your wedding offerings?

Each offering is thoughtfully built around the pace and feeling of your day. Depending on the collection, coverage may include film photography, digital documentation, Polaroids, Super 8, and an engagement session.

When will we receive our photographs and films?

Portrait and engagement galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered 90 days after wedding day. Super 8 films generally arrive within 8–10 weeks due to lab processing.

Polaroids are delivered to your home, upon gallery delivery.

What is the difference between 35mm, medium format, and Super 8?

35mm feels candid, textured, and full of movement. Medium format creates softer, more detailed portraits. Super 8 captures your memories in motion through nostalgic, silent film.

Do you travel?

Yes. I photograph throughout Northern California and am available for destination celebrations. Travel fees are based on location and will always be shared before booking.

Can we add Polaroids or Super 8 later?

Yes, based on availability. Add-ons may be included anytime before your final planning deadline, though Super 8 availability is limited and best reserved early.
